We are inundated with news, news, news. Bad news! The economy is crashing! You may lose your job, your home. Global warming – the planet is dying and it’s all your fault. But don’t forget – there’s a sale a Macy’s – gotta dress for success, don’t ya know!!

It comes from all sides – the newspapers, the television and from conversations around the water cooler. Be afraid! Be very afraid! There isn’t room for anything else!

Is this the purpose of our lives? To dodge and duck trying to make it through; and eek out a meager living until it’s over? Surely there must be a reason for living beyond that?!

The reason is to become conscious that we are more than rats in a rat race, to discover our own voice and to learn to listen to it. It has a lot to say!

Abstract Contemporary Art is nothing but itself. It has no subject, no words, nothing else to clutter up with mind. It is about color and texture and speaks directly to Being. Listen! Feel! Find! – there won’t be a film at eleven about that.
